I’ve been using Fujifilm for over 5 years now in my professional photography and videography career. So far, I’ve mostly had good experiences. In this little blog post, I want to share my highlights about the Fujifilm System and some downsides. All the photos you can see are shot by me and edited with my presets. The presets can be found on my website: www.chrisperkles.at If you like what you’re reading, please consider subscribing, this would help a lot!

Disclaimer: I’m not involved with the Fujifilm brand.

So let’s go with a few highlights about the Fujifilm bodies!

Fuji cams are known for their exceptional image quality. The company has definitely a long history of producing high-quality lenses and sensors, which help to ensure that the photos taken with their cameras are sharp and detailed.

Fujifilm cameras are also known for their sleek, stylish design. Many of the company’s cameras are compact and lightweight, making them easy to carry around and use on the go.

The cameras have a user-friendly interface. The company has worked hard to make their cameras easy to use, even for people who are new to photography.

Fujifilm also offers a wide range of cameras to choose from, including mirrorless cameras, point-and-shoot cameras, and even medium-format cameras for professional photographers. This means that there is a Fujifilm camera to suit just about any need or budget. But they’re currently cutting their entry cameras a bit.

Finally, Fujifilm offers an excellent, wide range of accessories and lenses to help users get the most out of their cameras.

More about the lenses:

Fujifilm lenses are known for their high quality and performance. The company has a long history of producing exceptional optics, and their lenses are widely regarded as being among the best in the industry. Fujifilm lenses are designed to deliver sharp, detailed images with minimal distortion and aberrations, and they are built to last, with durable construction and high-quality materials.

In addition to their exceptional image quality, Fujifilm lenses are also known for their compact, lightweight design. Many of the company’s lenses are small and portable, making them easy to carry around and use on the go.

Fujifilm also offers a wide range of lenses to choose from, including prime lenses, zoom lenses, and speciality lenses for specific shooting situations. This means that there is a Fujifilm lens to suit just about any need or budget.

Overall, Fujifilm lenses are a great choice for photographers who want high-quality optics and reliable performance.

Downsides?

Well, this is a hard one, because for me, it’s almost perfect. Here’s what I wish that would be better:

  • Faster zoom glass, I would like to see 18–35 mm f1.8 or something similar.
  • Autofocus got recently better with the X-H2s, but still not on the same level as Sony.
  • On the GFX System, it took some time to have a nice lens range.

X-T3 & 10–24mm f4
X-T4 & 10–24mm f4

But overall, I’m very happy what they’re doing, and with the new cameras they’re releasing. If you have any questions, drop me a message on Instagram or via mail. And consider subscribing, this would help a lot.
